Everyone is very warm and welcoming. The one-to-one support is intimate, patient and helpful. If I don’t pass things it’s only because of me!

I first came to G2G Communities CIC via the Ladder of Life project run by South West Rhyl communities First (SWRCF) and attended a workshop run by G2G entitled ‘Introduction to minute taking’. This led me to discuss my individual requirements with G2G and start the European Computer Driving License (ECDL), I have not looked back since.

I would describe G2G Communities as an inspirational oasis of learning and lots of fun.

I have found the course very interesting and very informative. I have learnt a lot and the staffs are very helpful. The one to one help and advice is very good.

Mark and Emily have taught me how to create things on the computer on the accredited digital photography and Alison on the jewellery course. I have learnt a lot. Carry on the good work and I hope to come to more.

My husband and I decided to like everyone else move into the area of new technology I specifically wanted to be able to feel more confident to use our Computer and to learn how to use some of the tools that would be applicable to my needs.

I have learnt how to send e-mails to my friends and also have had the opportunity to take photographs through an extra course G2G Communities delivered and load them onto the computer I`m very pleased with myself.

I`m already using my new found skills to keep in touch with friends take more photographs the next step is to learn how to send these to my family and friends.

The sessions are brilliant check out our photo album and our video regarding the digital inclusion programme you will see what John and I have achieved.

I have found the staff very helpful and friendly, always willing to help and I always receive a warm smile from the staff.

Since attending G2G Communities I have found I have achieved more than I thought I would on this course and this is thanks to the staff being so helpful.

When I started with G2G Communities I was an absolute novice with computers. I can now navigate my computer, send e-mails and I am very excited with my new found skills. I should like to thank all the professional and kind staff who has helped me in this venture.

Emily was fantastic delivering the first aid course - getting to her points very well. Staff are fantastic, well done to the two of you, keep it up.

I immediately received a warm welcome from the staff of G2G Communities and was offered a number of courses to choose from. It was so quick and easy to get started on my chosen course and all the resources and equipment were available. Jenny, my support tutor, was always there to assist me when I needed help during the first section of the course which I have now successfully completed. I have now started on the second module of my ECDL.

To further update my skills I am looking forward to enrolling on an ‘Introduction to minute taking’ course also run by G2G. I am also interested in enrolling on the ‘first aid’ course G2G is running in the New Year.

It’s good to know that this type of support and assistance is available to people like me.

Before coming to G2G Communities CIC I had never used a computer before. Coming on the course has opened up a new world and I now have new skills and interests. I am now able to use the computer to keep in contact with my family and friends in different ways. I have received excellent training and support and really enjoyed my time with G2G.

I am 68 years of age and was totally IT illiterate of computer comprehension and operation in fact I didn`t know how to switch one on. I contemplated for many years to address this shortcoming and finally 2 months ago was fortunate to visit G2G Communities CIC in Rhyl.

The reception I received was most reassuring and helpful and I was totally relaxed and focused on the learning experience. As I spend the winter out of this country I`m now happy that I will be able to keep in touch with my friends and family.

Now after 8 hours I feel able to visit websites and search around feeling confident in doing so. I have bought a laptop and am now looking forward to all the benefits of this new found skill thanks to my tutor at G2G.

I have recommended G2G to my friends especially if like me they are nervous of new technology the staff there soon put the learners at ease.

I was really daunted about having a computer but G2G have really opened everything up to me. I am now exploring all sorts of different things. I am shopping online with confidence. Moira and Peter (G2G staff) have opened my eyes to a whole new experience and at 65 I did not think it would be possible. Thank you all.

When first attending the course I was very wary of using a computer. The staff have been very helpful in making me comfortable and I feel a lot more confident when using the computer. I am now in touch with family and friends on Facebook.

The course was really interesting and delivered in a very friendly way. My confidence has really improved and I feel alive again as being with such lovely people has been a real tonic to me and given me a focus to look forward to from week to week.

I was made to feel very welcome. I have one-to-one support and tuition with a very patient and friendly member of staff. It’s nice to be able to go at my own speed and I have a course book I can follow with backup from my tutor.

I came to G2G Communities CIC because I wanted to learn more computer skills, how to open e-mails and generally be less afraid of the computer.

I feel much more confident and less intimidated by the computer and not worried about pressing the wrong button, now I just go for it.

I am hoping to start my own dog training business and the skills I am learning will help me.

All the courses provided have been really interesting and useful. The friendly support and information provided by all the staff have made the learning and testing process stress free. G2G is a community based organisation providing useful training in IT and other areas for members of the community by members of the community.

The courses run by G2G are for the community, by the community and help the community. It would be virtually a criminal to allow the centre to close because of lack of funding.

Introduction to First Aid and CPR was very informative and not over complicated by medical jargon.

The accredited digital photography course was a very good course and delivered at a steady pace. I would definitely recommend training on the camera course, it’s fun and that makes learning easier.

Accredited Digital Photography was an excellent course, wish I could have carried it on longer! Emily and Mark made it fun as well as informative. Well done G2G Communities.

The course I am doing is the best thing I ever did and with wonderful friendly staff.
